I have a problem at work, but I don’t want to rock the boat – what should I do?
We know that whilst workplace problems are common, most of us don’t want to leave. What we do want is for the issue to be resolved so that we return to how things were before it happened. When problems do arise it is likely to be distressing and for things to escalate further. In order to avoid this, seek advice as soon as possible. It may be that a short telephone call with an advisor could be enough to provide the information to establish next steps.
If I am a member and need to bring an employment tribunal claim, how does that work?
For a start, as a member we would be fully aware of your situation, as we would have been involved from the outset, and would continue to support you throughout the process. If we believe that it would be appropriate to lodge an Employment Tribunal claim, we would do so. There would be no charge to you as it is included within your membership.
We work exclusively in the areas of HR and employment law. Any litigation support, such as drafting documentation in relation to a claim, is handled in house. Meaning that those handling your case are fully aware of all that has happened and also that decisions relating to Tribunal claims can be made quickly so that you are not left in limbo.
