Are you a Union?

We are not a union, we are not concerned with arranging strike action or participating in collective bargaining, nor are we political. We we are  passionate about providing support which is tailored to the needs of the member who contacts us. We are a Claims Management Company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our Firm Reference Number is 834469. We can support you with all aspects of your employment matter, including Employment Tribunal representation.

As a member, is there a limit to the number of occasions I can access support?
Absolutely not. We want our members to contact us whenever they have a concern so that we can support them fully.
I am going to a different job can I stay on the membership scheme?
Of course! We are proud to say that many of our members have stayed with us for years and are reassured that support is on hand whenever they need it, wherever they are employed.
I have an employment issue that began when I was not a member, will the scheme cover this?
Unfortunately not, pre-existing issues are not covered as part of our membership scheme. Our memberships are designed to provide future peace of mind, rather like how we take out insurance to protect us from possible risks in the future. However, we do offer our services on an hourly rate or, in some cases, on a no win no fee arrangement. We would be delighted to hear from you and to discuss your situation.
I am happy in my job why would I want to sign up as a member now?

When we are happy at work it is natural to think that it will stay that way forever. We sincerely hope that it will. However, research shows that one third of us will have an employment law problem in the workplace. There are all sorts of reasons why you may find yourself in this position. For more information, take a look at our article ‘It won’t happen to me!’

Our membership scheme provides future peace of mind so that if an issue does arise after you join you are protected. However, it does not cover pre-existing issues.  Therefore, if you wait until a problem happens it will be too late to benefit from the scheme.

We can still help in other ways. In some cases, we offer ‘no win no fee’. We also undertake work on an hourly rate basis, but the membership option is likely to be the most cost effective (provided the issue did not arise until after you have joined). I have a problem at work, but I don’t want to rock the boat – what should I do?

We know that whilst workplace problems are common, most of us don’t want to leave. What we do want is for the issue to be resolved so that we return to how things were before it happened. When problems do arise it is likely to be distressing and for things to escalate further. In order to avoid this, seek advice as soon as possible. It may be that a short telephone call with an advisor could be enough to provide the information to establish next steps.

Having support in place means that you will know whether or not you are being treated properly and, if not, what should be done to resolve the situation. Far from rocking the boat, we are able to support you from behind the scenes. Such support may well increase the likelihood of you remaining in the workplace because instead of leaving, because you did not know what else to do, you have the information you need to make an informed decision about what is best for you.

Whatever the situation you are facing, we can support you. For our members, an unlimited amount of support is available within the membership fee.

If I am a member and need to bring an employment tribunal claim, how does that work?

For a start, as a member we would be fully aware of your situation, as we would have been involved from the outset, and would continue to support you throughout the process. If we believe that it would be appropriate to lodge an Employment Tribunal claim, we would do so. There would be no charge to you as it is included within your membership.

We work exclusively in the areas of HR and employment law. Any litigation support, such as drafting documentation in relation to a claim, is handled in house. Meaning that those handling your case are fully aware of all that has happened and also that decisions relating to Tribunal claims can be made quickly so that you are not left in limbo.
